Deborah was busy;

As busy as a bee.

She had repented of her sin

And led her family.

God called her to rule his land.

Her sweetness all would know.

A humble mother God had sought.

His power through her he’d show

At God‘s command, she called to arms.

To the battle, she led the way.

In her heart, she knew that God

Had already won that day.

The enemy fell before them.

The victory shout was long.

Deborah sang to the nation.

“God Led Us”, was her song.

Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, Until I, Deborah, arose, Arose a mother in Israel.

Judges 5:7 NKJV

Deborah’s name signifies a bee and she fulfilled her name by her industry, wisdom, and great usefulness to the nation. She was sweet to her friends and stinging to her enemies. (From Matthew Henry’s Commentary)
