As I Was Thinking

As I was thinking

Joy filled my soul.

Once I was lost.

Now I am whole.

Perfect peace is mine.

On Christ I’m stayed.

Complete is my trust.

I am not afraid.

Jesus is my Savior.

I find I need no other.

He is a friend and

He’s closer than a brother.

As he thinks in his heart, so is he.
