Best Friends

Be best friends with Jesus.

Spend time with him today.

Don’t ever be too busy

Or let things get in the way.

Ask him how he’s doing.

Swap a story with him.

Tell him something funny.

Fill your cups up to the brim.

Share some hidden secret

As if he didn’t know.

Appreciate his interest.

Let inhibitions go.

Ask him for some help.

Offer to help him too.

Remember he is working.

There’s a lot he needs to do.

Never let time or distance

Keep your souls apart.

Enjoy this happy gift.

Stay friends with all your heart.
