God and the Word

All things I possess in Christ

To share throughout the ages

But I must abide in God's Word

And dwell within its pages.

In him, we live and move

And have our very being

But it is God's Word in me

That gives my life its meaning.

When we come to heaven

There’ll be peace and joy galore

But it is God and the Word

That we’re most thankful for.
