God's Army

The Lord has an army

That's numerous as the stars.

They follow him where he goes

To free the lost his cause.

The trump sounds for the battle.

They hear it ringing true.

They're dressed in white from every land

The world they will make new.

Their light shines in darkness.

"On now to victory"

Their weapon is the word of God.

The Devil has to flee.

Each day souls are added.

They train to fight and win.

Victories are won. O glorious day!

Jesus conquers sin.

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.
