Godliness

Godliness is the practice

Of God’s kind behavior.

We see it perfectly revealed

In the life of Christ our Savior.

Godliness before the Altar

Is not seen by God as true

Until it is shown to others

In the things, we say and do.

Let your light so shine before men,

That they may see your good works,

And glorify your Father which is in heaven.
