Harvest

If there's to be a harvest,

Seed must be sown.

The fruit is for the Master.

We labor for him alone.

There are many places

Good seed is apt to land.

Some lay upon the rocks.

Others fall on sand.

There is good soil around

Though weeds and rocks abound.

Fertile, receiving ground,

By seeking can be found.

It may produce thirty times;

Perhaps a hundredfold.

Bountifulness comes from God

With a harvest yet untold.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you ,always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
