Love Never Fails

Friendship is a fragile thing,

With the slightest bruise it will take wing.

But perfect love, it will stay.

No sorrow can drive true love away.

Love will not fail when it is tried.

From love kindness is supplied.

Though friendships may soon fall apart,

Love perseveres and keeps each heart.

Love instructs us to forgive.

It is for others we must live.

When we die and enter heaven

We’ll be happy for what we’ve given.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
