Oneness

Your righteousness is not of you.

It’s not determined by what you do.

Our righteousness we must confess

Is Jesus Christ, pure holiness.

It is by faith that we are saved.

By faith alone, our sins are waived

If we would have a love, that’s true

Our wicked heart must be made new.

When you realize all is forgiven

A new heart from God, you are given.

You will not condemn your neighbor

You’ll praise God for good behavior.

The world does not give such a treasure.

Forgiveness is joy beyond earth’s measure.

It is that cleansing, which makes us one

With God, our Father, and Christ, his Son.

Jesus said this to a self-righteous man, “To whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Luke 7:47 KJV
