The Meek

Christ is my desire.

Christ is my delight.

Christ is my Lord.

With God I’m alright.

Anger has ceased.

Wrath is forsaken.

Jesus is Lord.

His cross I’ve taken.

Patiently I wait.

For nothing I fret.

Jesus is Lord.

His peace I get.

The meek shall inherit the earth,

And shall delight themselves

in the abundance of peace.
